Front of Pack Labelling (FOPL) allows for rapid assessment of packaged foods, empowering consumers to make healthier choices. Various FOPL models exist globally. In South Africa, Warning Labels have been proposed for adoption. It is important that the algorithm which underpins the application of Warning Labels considers the unique nutrient credentials of dairy.
